Canadian Reader

The Canadian Reader (Grades 3-5) is a current events resource that combines currentexplores Canadian eventsevents, issues, and geography issues to encourage students to expand their knowledge of Canada while enhancing their ability to read and understandbuilding informational text.reading skills.

The magazine is published eight times a year from September to May. Each issue includes:

Magazine Formats

Magazines are available in two formats: .pdf and .docx.

  • The .pdf file contains the complete document and cannot be changed. It has helpful information for parents and answer keys at the bottom of the document.
  • The .docx file contains only the articles and questions. Students can complete assignments directly in the .docx document using Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
