  • Address: Skaha Beach, 3798 Parkview St, Penticton, BC V2A 3W4 - We will meet on the beach at the fire pits by the natural playground and volleyball courts at the end of Parkview Street on Skaha Beach in Penticton.

  • Event: Picnic, face painting, sand castle building and lawn games
  • Bring: A picnic with chairs and / or picnic blanket. This park includes water / beach access and a playground. Please note there will be no life guard provided and parents / guardians are responsible for the safety and care of their family members.

      • Bring: A picnic dinner, chairs and a roasting stick (we'll have a few extra).  We'll supply propane fire pits and ingredients for s'mores.

      • Bring: Bring a water bottle and any snacks you would enjoy.  Dress for the weather as Amber and Joanna will be there with pizza rain or shine!

    • Parking: Easy access at the park
    • Event: Come join us at the playground of Gyro Park for an opportunity to meet other home educating families and local teachers.
    • Bring: We welcome you to bring something to sit on and lawn games. Timbits will be provided. ​

    Burnaby Deer Lake

      • Time: 10 am to noon (stay as long as you'd like though!)

    Cultus Lake

      • Event: Back-to-school Picnic. Swimming with parent supervision if the weather is nice
      • Bring: Snacks, frisbees, spike ball, paddleboards, kayak, spike ball or other games!
