What in the World?
What in the World? (Grades 5-10) is a current events resource that enhances understanding of current Canadian and international events. The magazine is published eight times a year from September to May. Each issue includes:

Relevant background information to enhance understanding of each event or issue

On-the-line, between-the-line, and beyond-the-line questions

Assignment to analyze a political cartoon and examine a news photo

Crossword and quizzes

Access to "What in the World?" magazine has changed. Contact your teacher to receive access to the "What in the World?" resources.

Your support teacher will need to forward the documents to you.
Magazine Formats
Magazines are available in two formats: .pdf and .docx.
- The .pdf file contains the complete document and cannot be changed. It has helpful information for parents and answer keys at the bottom of the document.
- The .docx file contains only the articles and questions. Students can complete assignments directly in the .docx document using Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
- The Maps pdf has printable maps that co-ordinate with the stories found in the magazines. There are answer keys included in this document.
