TeachingBooks (K-Grade12) is an online database that explores children’s books and young adult literature. Logging In

Navigate to TeachingBooks, then enter the username and password for Teaching BooksTeachingBooks from the Subs/Passwords tab in the Search Portal.

Navigation & Use

TeachingBooks has Early Childhood Resources available for parents. These include book suggestions, printables, instructional supports, timely topics, and ready-to-use ideas.

Digital Escape rooms are a fun way to engage students and enhance learning. Navigate to Digital Escape Rooms, then select a book title from the list. Scroll down to select "Book Guides, Activities, and Lessons." Scroll down the next page to the Digital Escape Room button.

Games include Book Cover Jigsaw Puzzles, Book Description Word Search, Concentration, and Author/Illustrator Name Game.

Fluent French and Spanish speakers may wish to use French Language Resources or Spanish Language Resources. Please note these resources are not for French or Spanish language learners.
