This Subscription is available to Enrolled, Flex and Registered families.
National Geographic Kids is a children's magazine published by the National Geographic Society. Its first issue was printed in September 1975 under the original title National Geographic World. It is a one-stop shop for elementary and middle school kidsstudents interested in the cultural or natural world.
Focused Education Resources is a not-for-profit, shared services organization that supports excellence in K-12 education in British Columbia. It is a consortium of BC public school districts and independent schools that work together to create accessible learning resources for BC schools. Within Focused Education Resources is the BC Digital Classroom, which houses many of the subscriptions available to HCOS and Flex families.

Using the SubscriptionUse
National Geographic has magazines, books, videos, and pictures.
Headings on the site can be changed to different languages through the drop-down menu at the top right of the page.
The language and font size of articles can be changed in the menu above the article.
Articles can be cited, downloaded, savedsaved, and printed.
Advanced Search can be used to make your search more specific.
