No username and password are required if you are on campus at Flex Academy. You can move easily between the different BC Digital Classroom resources.

Scroll down to select the subscription button you wish to access, and a login page will open. You will then enter the username and password found in the Search Portal. (Log in to the Search Portal using your Encom username and password. Select the Subs/Password tab.) 

4Canoes magazine (K-12) has articles vetted by the indigenous communities about which they were written.

Using 4Canoes

We have permission to print portions of the magazines for classroom use, but not the entire magazine.  They suggest showing the online version in classes.

• Use stories from the "Teachers' Corner" and pair them with books from the evaluated resources in the Focused Education Resources site. These can be used for read-aloud times.
• Explore community resources through local bands. These resources might be useful for providing language and story materials for classroom use.  
• Look for the language of your local bands on online sites. These can be played in your classroom.
• There are links on the index page to take you to any article you’d like to access. There is also a slider bar beneath the magazine that lets you move quickly from one location to another within it.
• The “Kids Zone” near the end features activities suitable for children. There are traditional interactive stories and activities to accompany them; selecting the links will take you to additional sites.
