Canva is a great tool for creating rich and engaging communication using various media. HCOS is happy to offer it as a free tool for students.
Who Can Use It?
Canva is available to all individuals creating content to support students at HCOS and to studentsin creating content as part of their educational programming.
To sign up, go to https://canva.com and use your Google Workspace account to sign in.

Studentswithout who want to use Canva can log in with theira Google Workspace account. If they do not have an account, please direct them to one of the options below.account:
HCOS Students -Parents can visit https://hcos.ca/us-signup to request a Google Workspace account. Once created, they can visit https://canva.com and select Continue with Email to get going.
For Flex students without a Google Workspace account:
Flex Students -Pleaseget in touch withcontact the office to request a Google Workspace account, then visit https://canva.com and select Continue with Email to get started.
Getting Started with Canva for Education
Canva is loaded with templates you can use to create engaging slides presentations, worksheets, headers, posters, videos, and more. Choose from the listed items or use the search toolbar to find a specific theme or style.
