Costs for Online Courses

Online course costs

(Current for 2018/19 School yearyear)

These are the amounts deducted from student curriculum accounts for the following courses. The true costs for these online courses are subsidized by HCOS in order that student curriculum accounts are minimally impacted.

VW/IMT Core $125/course = $500 (MustStudents must take the four courses) 

Grades Five and Six cover Language Arts, Bible, ADST, Science      

Grades Seven and Eight cover Language Arts, Bible, ADST, Social Studies

VWVirtual World Languages $150

VW / IMT French levels 1,2,3,4

VW / IMT Spanish 1,2,3

VW / MC (Minecraft) Levels 1,2

Online French Rosetta Stone $150

TechLAB $300

CoversTechLAB covers English Language Arts, ADST, and Bible

Community Connections $137.50 to $183.33/ course

Costs for additional online courses

If a student wishes to add additional online courses to their loadload, (example:Example: A student chooses to take both French and Spanish in the same year)year.), then the secondadditional course needs to be paid for. The regular cost per course is $650. Children of HCOS contract teachers can access courses for $450.
