Some students may be unable to meet graduation requirements due to their special needs. However, the decision to put a student in an Evergreen Program should not be made prior to Grade 10, and should include the informed consent of the student’s parent(s)/guardian(s).

    • meets the learning outcomes described in the IEP, if that IEP contains all the learning outcomes of the student’student’s educational program, or
    • has successfully completed their program, if the IEP does not contain all the learning outcomes of the student’student’s educational program.
    • parents will be aware of, and have been consulted prior to,  movement of a student to a School Completion Certificate.
