Out of Province (OoP)
Course Fees for Full-Time students
K-4 full-time - $3850, non-funded program, all the opportunities of any student in the school
5-9 full-time - $4200, non-funded program, all the opportunities of any student in the school
10-12 is a per course tuition, OoP RA is also the GA
Course Fees for Part-Time Students
Some students prefer to only take a few online courses and will only receive a report card from us. Students in 5-9 are considered non-funded and will be placed with HCOS teacher. Students in 10-12 are considered HCOS students and are advised of the accreditation options as their marks are not submitted to the MoE. Only the OoP RA can add courses for these students so student course selection is locked.
5-9 online course - $625, billed via Paypal by OoP RA, OoP RA adds the course once the course fees are paid, student may access Learning Commons resources
10-12 online course - $925 for a 4 credit course, billed via Paypal by OoP RA, OoP RA adds the course once the course fees are paid, student may access Learning Commons resources
Yukon students, for grades 10-12, are charged $193.75 per credit, based on a specific rate designed for Yukon students.
Who are Out-of-Province Students?
OoP students are students who live outside of BC and do not meet the eligibility requirements for BC residency. They are invoiced for the educational programming that HCOS provides them. They are not eligible for additional SE funding or extra programs, unless they pay for those themselves.
